On Saturday, I headed out to City Hall to protest Prop 8. It was a good turnout, around 4,000 people. After the protest was herded away from City Hall, it went to the streets. We marched up to Union Square and on it went. People were in good spirits and it was a lot of fun. My favorite moment was after people were jumping up and down to the loudspeaker, a guy next to me said "Leave it to the gays to add cardio to a protest". Yes my friend, yes.

I feel an overwhelming sense of pride and emotion when I look your photos of this protest. You have captured people fighting for a just cause. This kind of exposure can make a real difference in this world. Bravo

These are fine. Lots of honest emotion.

That one banner reminds me of a bumpersticker I was thinking about a lot leading up to election day. Still relevant as the forces against Prop. "Hate" continue to wage the battle on as many fronts as possible: "Stupidity Should Hurt."
